Today

Today is a good day, today is a bad day, or maybe today is just “one of those days”. Either way, the best thing about today is that it is always new. Today is not simply yesterday’s tomorrow and tomorrow’s yesterday. It holds something much more powerful. Every moment that passes us has fleeting potential. While sitting, watching television, reading a book, writing a story; we are making our own history. Sometimes today can be a day of rest, sometimes a day of work. Sometimes it is a day of smiles, others, a day of tears. But no matter the definition of it, today is the best thing we have, and the only thing we can be sure of.

Remember:
It is not what we dream that makes us who we are, but rather what we do. By learning to find the wonder in each day, it can be possible to put the demons in their place and ensure that what is left is the joy of now. We must live moment by moment and day by day. We must use our lives for good. And most importantly, we must not regret, for we cannot change the past.
